Warren Hutcheon, Chief Executive Officer
Warren Hutcheon joined VMIA in February 2012. He has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having spent 25 years at CGU Insurance. In this time, Warren held several senior management positions across its insurance and risk portfolios, with roles including Head of Commercial and Director, Strategic Initiatives.

Dana Argyropoulos, Corporate Secretary
Dana has an extensive career in corporate secretariat positions, primarily within the banking and financial sector. She holds qualifications in economics, and has been with VMIA since 2006.

Kay Clancy, Executive General Manager - People, Culture and Capability
Kay joined VMIA in September 2012, bringing more than 20 years of banking and insurance experience. She was previously General Manager, Business Operations at CGU. Kay has also held senior executive roles in business change, process re-engineering and insurance service operations for Barclays Bank and Woolwich Bank. She is a graduate of the AICD.

Hazel Greenhalgh, Executive Manager, Government Relations
Hazel joined VMIA in 2008. She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and introducing reforms across government.
Hazel has held senior roles across the private and public sectors and has qualifications in education and public policy.

Victor Martindale, Executive General Manager, Finance
Victor is an insurance industry specialist and brings to VMIA more than 15 years’ experience in CFO/Senior Finance roles within the sector, including CFO at Swiss Re (South Africa), OAMPS (part of the Wesfarmers Group) and most recently ACE Insurance.

Ian Patterson, Chief Information Officer
Ian joined VMIA in November 2011. He has extensive experience in Information & Communications Technology and Enterprise Information Management. Ian has held senior positions in the education, health and arts sectors, including the State Library of Victoria and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. He holds qualifications in Education and Information Management.

Peter Ryan, Executive General Manager, Claims / Chief Executive Officer, DBI
Peter brings a wealth of expertise to his roles within VMIA. He has worked for more than two decades in commercial management, covering common law claims management, commercial litigation and dispute resolution for both Government and industry clients. He is also a qualified lawyer who has worked as both a solicitor and barrister.
