The VMIA holds regular events designed to update Victorian public sector clients on the latest risk management and insurance information.
The organisation’s flagship event is its bi-ennial, two-day conference featuring leading speakers from Australia and overseas, addressing the latest angles on current and emerging risk management topics.
The VMIA’s second Risk Conference took place on 17 and 18 August 2011 under the theme of Risk Inside/Out. The aim was to provide its 220+ delegates with new insight into critical risk management topics from all perspectives -inside and out.
The program included 43 speakers, seven keynote speakers - four of whom were from overseas - and 15 concurrent sessions, over the two-day conference.
