Project outline
After determining that identification and management of compliance obligations was an area of potential risk, the Victorian Arts Centre engaged Ernst & Young to design a framework that would:
- make it simple for managers to identify compliance obligations and manage them effectively
- provide transparency to executive management on the status of compliance management
- provide a risk-based approach to managing compliance.

Project outcomes
The VMIA developed a complete Compliance Management Framework to identify and manage compliance requirements including policy and procedures.
The framework also included a compliance management guidance tool and document templates, as well as a process where the framework could be utilised by another agency.
