Project outline

Managing Risk in the Disability Services Sector coverThis project aimed to strengthen organisational governance, and the risk management knowledge and capacity of disability service providers. The aim was to improve:

  • risk management practices and systems
  • the development of good practice risk management and controls
  • frameworks, training courses, materials and related tools to assist disability service providers throughout Victoria to manage risk more effectively and to implement appropriate controls
  • risk management education and training skills.

  • The VMIA.

Project outcomes

This project delivered a framework for risk and governance tailored for the disability sector and supported by guidelines, tools and templates.
