The Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) provides risk and insurance services to protect Victoria's assets and minimise losses from adverse events.
Established on 1 October 1996 under the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority Act 1996, we are a statutory authority that reports to the Department of Treasury and Finance. Further information about our function, services and clients available here.
