Overview

Corporate planning is the process used by businesses to map out and measure the actions needed to deliver objectives. Risk management is a response to the effects of uncertainty on these same objectives.

So why are they often done separately, or not at all? This workshop looks at this question and uses critical thinking techniques to ponder the answers…and prototype a solution that incorporates risk into corporate planning.

Learning objectives

  • examine the obligations and expectations for corporate planning documented in the VGRMF
  • enable leaders to explore goal achievement and uncertainty and how it relates to planning
  • identify opportunities to incorporate risk into planning activities.

Audience

This risk leadership workshop is suited to leaders from a range of public sector and community services organisations.

Each module is delivered as a half day hands-on workshop to provide immersive activity-based learning and strong networking opportunities.
