Resources to help you address climate change risks

Climate change affects all Victorians, therefore it’s important for Victorian Government organisations to consider the risks it brings to them and the communities they serve.

Together with the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), we’ve created a number of resources specifically for addressing climate change risks.

You may also want to use Victoria’s Future Climate Tool - an interactive tool to visualise climate projections for Victoria to make informed decisions about future investments. For more guidance on this climate tool, please refer to DEECA’s User Guide.

Climate Change Risk Management Guides

In developing the three guides with risk practitioners, we tried to strike a balance between providing enough information to increase your understanding without over complicating things.

While the guides are written at a foundational level in mind, they provide practical information that all decision-makers in your organisation can understand to consider climate change risks, wherever they are and whatever they do.

The guides will also be beneficial for environment specialists who want to view climate change from an enterprise risk perspective.
