Overview

How do you enhance your cyber resilience and manage cyber threats within your organisation?

This session is designed to demystify cyber in an enterprise risk context and build your ability to assess and manage this risk in collaboration with your IT and information management specialists. We will provide risk practitioners with an overview of government expectations, better practice principles and how to align these threats to your risk profile.

This is an interactive online workshop where you’ll be invited to engage in quizzes, polls and small group discussions. At times, you may be asked to switch on your camera and microphone to participate. To fully participate in this session, please log in via a laptop or desktop computer using Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari as your browser. 

This offering was formerly titled Cyber Risk Management. If you’ve previously attended this workshop, there may be overlap in content.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the workshop, you should be able to:

  • confidently include cyber related threats in your organisation's risk profile
  • advise your organisation on better practice principles for enhancing cyber resilience
  • increase your awareness of government expectations around cyber

Audience

This session is beneficial for public sector professionals with a risk and governance background who have limited exposure to IT. We also encourage IT specialists to attend to look at cyber from a business perspective.
