ACHSM is the peak professional body for health managers in Australasia and works to recognise, develop, and support effective health leadership and management to improve the health and wellbeing of the Australian community.
VMIA has had a strong relationship with ACHSM since 2016 when the college’s first interns were welcomed as part of the Victorian Health Management Intern Program. Since 2017, we have sponsored monthly breakfast forums for an audience of both public and private health executives and board members.
Both VMIA and ACHSM have common goals of developing knowledge and expertise in health care organisations and have worked on topics of joint interest to our respective clients and membership.
