As part of VMIA's security measures, participants will need to join our sessions using a Microsoft account. If you don't have one, it’s free to set up and takes only a few minutes.
Go to the Microsoft Sign-Up Page(opens in a new window)
Create your Microsoft account before the event. Go to the sign-up page and type in your regular email address. Follow the prompts to create an account.(Note: This creates a new password for your new Microsoft account; this will not change your normal email password)
Join the Teams meeting
Open the email invitation you received and click the meeting link. You will be joining the meeting using your regular email address which has now been linked to your new Microsoft account.(Note: If you’re on a computer, a webpage will pop up. You don’t need to download anything. If you’re on a mobile device, you must download the Microsoft Teams app)
