VMIA has an annual insurance renewal cycle for departments and agencies. Each year, we collect risk exposure data from selected clients via the Insurance Questionnaire (IQ) and provide appropriate insurance solutions.

IQ is open to selected clients from December to end-February the following year. By mid-June each year, clients receive their policy packs for the upcoming financial year.

Improvements made to Insurance Renewal for 2019-20:

  • Access to IQ in an easy-to-use, self-service portal
  • IQ pre-populated with previous year’s information
  • Information session for clients to better understand how premiums are calculated
