Anthony Black - Senior Risk Adviser
Anthony provides risk management advice and consultation services to the health, human services and education sectors. He commenced his career in nursing and has held a broad range of senior health management roles, including sitting on government review bodies and as President of the Australasian Rehabilitation Nurses’ Association. Anthony is passionate about supporting governance, strategic planning and complex risk management to assist decision making, to improve performance and build organisational resilience. Anthony provides and advises on strategic and operational risk and insurance programs and solutions.
Gabby Fennessy - Senior Insights Adviser
Gabby develops key insights by using claims data, insurance information and various sources to provide clients and VMIA with information about preventing harm and reducing claims. A key part of her role is ensuring clients understand emerging risks and develop effective risk management frameworks. Gabby has over 20 years of health care experience in research, evidence-based practice, clinical safety and quality and risk management. She has worked in public and private healthcare and has extensive experience in project management, change management and service improvement. Gabby has an interest in evaluation of programs and health services research.
