Consult with VMIA

An agency must consult with VMIA to determine its appropriate level of insurance.

To determine the appropriate level of cover, an agency must consider its risk profile and objectives, past claims experience, the availability and cost of insurance, and the type and scale of risks that the agency is prepared to accept.

VMIA's insurance consulting services include:

  • Insurance Questionnaire or Review — complete an insurance questionnaire or contact your relationship manager to review your existing insurances and any new cover that may be required.
  • Strategic Insurance Review — reviews your risk profile and tests adequacy of insurance cover, insured limits, self-insured retained losses and internal claims management practices.
  • Risk Retention Toolkit — provides you with calculations of alternative premium options based on changes in levels of self-insured retention.
