Overview

Managing risk is part of everybody’s job. Effective risk management supports informed decision making and helps to achieve positive outcomes at every level of an organisation.

This session will build your confidence in understanding core risk management concepts, as well as provide you with frameworks and tools to assist you and your organisation in the way that they manage risk.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the workshop, you should be able to:

  • understand key risk management concepts
  • apply risk based decision making
  • use relevant risk management tools

Audience

This session is suited to public sector professionals interested in risk management with limited or no risk management expertise and knowledge.

Jasmin Mokdissi I have over 10 years' experience working within a Risk team in Local and State Government. In addition to this, I have vast knowledge in insurance and claims management. I have worked with numerous teams to work towards reducing claims and managing risk management processes.
